Greece: Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret of 59 years in marriage. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Kathy) Greenawalt, Jr. of Rochester, Br. Noel, OSB of Oceanside, CA., Patrick (Libby) Greenawalt; daughters, Rosie (Thomas) Kean of Rapid City, SD, Karen Greenawalt of Columbus, OH; sister, Mary Kerby of Oak Hill, WVA; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews

In 1943 Bob joined the U.S. Marine Corp. During his WW II tour, he served in the South Pacific. Upon his return he graduated from Notre Dame in 1950 with a degree in Phys. Ed. He also served in the Air Force Reserves, retiring at the rank of Lt. Col. Bob is a retiree of Westinghouse in Mansfield, OH when in 1986 Peg and himself moved to Rochester.

Family will receive friends 4-7 Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond). On Wednesday morning, August 9, 2017 at 10AM friends may meet at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., Greece, NY, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Full Military Honors to follow by the U.S. Marine Corp. Interment Oak Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington, OH.
