Greece: August 8, 2017, Passed peacefully with family at her side. Predeceased by her husband, William Spitz; daughter, Judy Craw; son-In-law, Gordon Craw; and sister, Arline McCormick. Marjorie is survived by her children, Gary (Kathy) Spitz, Laurie (Dave Lippert) Neill, Janet (Paul) Parker, and Karen (Ken Martucio) Spitz. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Sarah, Shea, Zack, Aaron, Corey, Owen, and Kyle and 4 great grandchildren. Marjorie is also survived by her sisters, Audrey Holly and Lois Lent and many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie’s life was filled with love of family and friends. She was a charter member of, and was very active in, John Knox Presbyterian Church. She was also a longtime volunteer in the Unity Hospital Gift Shop.
Marjorie was always known to have a smile and a positive outlook despite the circumstances and complaints were not part of her makeup. Life was a gift to her and she treated every day that way. Helping others made her the happiest.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 31st, from 3 - 7 pm at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester N.Y. A service to celebrate Marjorie’s life will be held on Friday September 1st at 11:00 am at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 3233 Ridge Road West, Rochester NY.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may choose to donate to the Unity Hospital Fund or the John Knox Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
