Van Sice, Marlene Virginia Nolan Rochester: Sept. 1, 2017, age 83. She is predeceased in death by husband of 63 years Robert George Van Sice; parents Joseph Frederick & Gertrude Eva Kase Nolan; and sister Kathleen (Richard) Lenhard. Marlene is survived by six children: Barbaraann Van Sice (Marc Simmons), Marlene Louise Magliocco (David), Mary Taylor, Ann Fousse (Robert), Catherine Brew (Herb), Robert James Van Sice (Anna Paulette); ten grandchildren: Marlene Ann, Charles, Amanda, Jacob, Kara, Adam, Gregory, Ryan, Joseph, and Nathanael; 3 great-grandchildren Zachary, Jasmine and Rosanna; 3 brothers James (Gloria) Nolan, Jerome Nolan, and Jon (Touch) Nolan; her Uncle Earl Kase; and nieces & nephew, Nancy (Jim) Fenessey, Sue Lenhard (Julie Knitter) and Richard Lenhard; cousins; and friends of Holy Family and Holy Apostles Churches.

Marlene was a member of Holy Apostles Church, PAC TAC, Lyell Otis Neighborhood Association, and community service groups. She retired from Gates Chili School District.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, 12:00 noon, at Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Ave., Rochester, NY 14606; inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ministry of Holy Apostles Church, c/o Rev. Anthony Mugavero, 530 Lyell Ave., Rochester NY 14606 and/or to the missionary work of The Maria Helena Drexel Association c/o Sue Gillette Cooman, 8 Woodbury Way, Fairport, New York 14450.
