Robert A. Miles passed away peacefully on April 29, 2017, after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 86.

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Marion L. Miles and daughter Pamela A. Miles. Robert is survived by his children, Myron (Patricia) Lemperle, Wesley (Michelle) Miles, Sandra (Stephen) Holmes, Mary Jane (Alan) Hasman, James (Patricia) Miles, Vanessa (Mark) Bratcher, Roberta Difrancesco; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also he is survived by his siblings, George, Diane, Alan and Christine; nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.

Robert was born in Wolcott, NY on April 13, 1931 to Allen and Vera (Wells) Miles.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force. Robert was a former owner and CEO of ABC Ironworks, Henrietta town constable and a school bus driver for 25 years. He authored a book of US history and was working on 2 others at the time of his passing. He was an avid NY Yankees fan and member of First Bible Baptist Church.

His family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Journey Home for all their care and support.
