Peacefully with his daughter by his side, Monday, November 27, 2017 at the age of 101.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret Gillespie Papa of 51 years, son Richard Papa, daughter Diana Janes, Robert Janes.
He is survived by his daughters, Jeanette P Yeager, Margaret (Peter Embrey) Campione. 11 grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.

Sam was a loving man that lived a long blessed life of integrity, valor and happiness. He was the loving companion of 14 years to Carmella Tantallo. He loved sitting in his yard, taking in the beauty of his gardens that he so much cherished. Samuel will be greatly missed by all that knew him during his 101 years on this earth.

Family will receive friends 4-6pm Wednesday December 20, 2017, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.( corner of Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will follow visitation at 6pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Military honors by the US Army will follow. In lieu of flowers per Sam's request, do a random act of kindness for someone today, kindness and love conquers all.
