Passed peacefully on, May 21, 2018 at the age of 103.
Predeceased by his wife; Catherine Watt, Son, Robert H.(Mary) Watt, Grandson, Ricky Watt.
Survived by his Son; William (Karen) Watt. Daughter; Nancy J. Watt. Grandchildren; Dawn (Richard) Savacool, Justin (LeAnna) Watt, Brendan Watt, Cailin (Connor) Briney, Robert G. Watt, Cheri (Felicia) Reed-Watt. Great Grandchildren; Lauren (Myles) Ott, Robbie Watt, Jeremy Watt, Aidan, Tatum Watt. Great great grandchildren; Alba Watt, Emery Briney. Special friends; Gail Brodner, Jennie Smith, Diane Schimdt-Cimmonelli. Also a special thanks to the Canandaigua Veterans Medical Center 8-B for there outstanding love and care they provided Harry and his family.
Harry was a proud retiree of IBM and Eastman Kodak Company and a tank commander of WWII under General Patton.
Family will receive friends Wednesday 6-9 pm May 30, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. (corner of Culver Rd.) On Thursday morning, May 31, 2018 friends may meet at Peace of Christ Parish at St. James Church 10 am 130 Brett Rd., Rochester, NY 14609 for his mass of Christian burial. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with full military honors by the US Army following committal prayers.
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the Canandaigua VA Medical Center 8-B, 400 Fort Hill Ave, Canandaigua, NY 14424 in Joe's memory.
