Anthony Yovannone
1947 - 2012

Greece: August 23, 2012 at age 65. Tony died at Strong Hospital due to unexpected surgery complications. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Linda; only 4 months ago. He is survived by his daughter, Dana; grandson, Ryan; sisters, Angela and AnneMarie; brothers-in-law, Raymond & Dee, David; nephew, David & Baby Logan; also several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Tony was born in the Bronx on July 10, 1947. He served in the U.S. Army in 1967 where his buddy Bill Abby introduced him to his wife. As a result he became a resident of Rochester, NY. Tony was a Park Ranger for 25 years. Retired after working at a job he loved and made many friends at. Tony was a kind and gentle soul, very funny and sometimes long winded. He was loved by everyone who knew him.
All are welcome to call on Tuesday 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where his Memorial Service will be held at 8 PM.
