Newark: September 18, 2012 at age 64. Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, her family by her side. She is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Edith McDermott. Survived by her husband, Gary; children, Gary (Luanne) Jr., Lynn (Rob) Drew, Kristin (Peter) Hull, Robert (Leigh), Jack (Leah) and Gregory; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Contestable and Marilyn (Gary) Saxton; niece and nephews, Gina, Timmy and Gary.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center.
