Drake James VanDyne

Rochester: Passed unexpectedly on Sunday, December 9th, 2012 at age 42. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Curt VanDyne; grandparents, Robert and Mary Suhr. Survived by mother, Karen (George) Stuck; son, Jacob VanDyne; brother, Curt VanDyne; step-brother, Steven Stuck; fiancee, Kim Jarvis.

Drake grew up in Waterloo and Seneca Falls. He graduated from Mynders Academy in Seneca Falls, he then moved to Rochester and worked as a Sexton at the Third Presbyterian Church on East Ave. for 14 years. He considered the Church his family and would go out of his way to help them in any way he could.

Family and friends may attend the Visitation Hours on Wednesday, December 12th from 1-3 and 5-8PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Ceremony will be held at the Third Presbyterian Church (4 Meigs St.) at 12:30 PM on Thursday. Followed by Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.
