Rochester: Passed away on Wednesday, April 4th 2018 after an extended illness. Harold was born May 30th 1936 in Geneva, NY, the son of Harold and Doris Russell Larsen. He graduated from Ovid Central School in the class of 1954 and attended the National School of Meat Cutting in Toledo, Ohio in 1955 and worked at several locations in the Rochester area over many years having last worked at Wegmans before retiring. Harold enjoyed doing his own auto mechanical work and enjoyed classic rock & roll and classic movies as well as occasional trips to casinos.

He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Lorraine Larsen; wife, Ann E Larsen; mother of his children, Kathleen Nowak. Harold is survived by two brothers, Joseph Traphagen of Liverpool and Edward Traphagen of Branchport; children, Jennifer Murtha of Greece; Harold E Larsen Jr of Greece; Todd M Larsen of Rochester and step son Adam Nowak of Greece; grandchildren, Harold, Amy, Leonnie, Shai, Hailey, Brianna, Christopher, Phoebe and Andrew and one great-grand daughter, Elizabeth along with several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, April 13th at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, April 14th followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
