Judith S. (Gibson) Edsall, 74, of Churchville, NY and most recently Lake Wales, FL, unexpectedly passed away on August 2nd, 2018.

Judy was born on Governor’s Island, NY to Harold and Dorothy Gibson. She attended Lyndonville High School in Lyndonville, NY. She enjoyed reading (particularly mystery novels), traveling, board games, and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Charles Edsall, Jr; children, Jeffrey (Michelle) Edsall of Hilton, NY and Christine (Rick) Nickel of Norfolk, VA; cherished grandchildren, Lucas and Kaiden Edsall and Oliver Nickel; sister Janet (Dennis) Ellnor of Appleton, NY; brother Robert (Cheryl) Gibson of Strykersville, NY; brother-in-law Chester (Kathy) Edsall of Hilton, NY; sisters-in-law Sheryl (Roger) McBroome of Lakeland, FL and Sharon Kaminski of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Visitation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY. on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 from 5 pm – 8 pm. The funeral will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hilton, NY on Thursday August 9th, 2018 at 1:30 pm followed by burial at Mumford Rural Cemetery, 1100 Flint Hill Road, Mumford, NY.
