ROCHESTER - September 27, 2018 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Ferdinand. Survived by her sons, David (Diane) and Jeffery (Donna); daughterin-law, Ann; grandchildren, Sherry and Jeffery Jr.; brothers, Hugh and Ken (Anne) in South Wales, Great Britain; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law in Rochester; and many nieces and nephews.
Elsie was born in South Wales, Great Britain. She met the love of her life, Ferdinand, during the second World War. After the war she immigrated to the United States to marry and raise her family. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures, such as spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and holiday gatherings. She was thoughtful, caring and loving. She was a member of the British- American club in Rochester.
A private burial was held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on October 2nd. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester on Saturday, October 27th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Episcopal Church Home.
