ROCHESTER - Passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at age 76 on his own terms. He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Byrd. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Carmen; children, Dawn M. Bird, Frank J. (Connie) Bird; sister, June Talarico (Matthew Ricotta); 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion Post #942, Fairport Grange and was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam Era.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 4-7PM and Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1-4PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., where Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10AM. Interment West Webster Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society or to the Wild Life Conservation Society.
