Greece - A devoted and beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother (Nana), Great-Grandmother (GiGi), Sister, and Friend departed in peace to be with her Lord on December 11, 2018 at the age of 91.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lloyd; children, Amy (Bruce) Branca, Karen (Stephen Petergal) Lembcke, Nancy (Steven) Hale, & David (Carlene) Lembcke; grandchildren, Gregory (Amie) Woodworth, Heather (Brian) Wright, David Branca, Thea Petergal, Jeremy Lembcke, Zachary (Grace) Hale, Nicholas Hale, & Emma Petergal; great-granddaughter, Elliot Wright; sisters, Marianne Conner Cornell & Sally Conway; nieces & nephews.

Betty-Lou was an avid quilter and knitter. She knit hats for newborns at the hospital, knit afghans for a women’s shelter, made vests for children in Africa, and quilts in a handmade tote for cancer patients. She loved gardening, swimming, so many hand crafts, and being surrounded by her family.

Betty-Lou retired from the Greece YMCA.

The family would like to thank the 2100 wing of Unity Hospital for their exceptional care.

She will be missed by all that knew her.

Her Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Greece Baptist Church, 1230 Long Pond Rd.

Private interment at Pine Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: Kiwanis Club of Greece.
