William was a devoted husband and father who selflessly always put the needs of his family above his own. He was a caring papa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to play basketball, fish, bowl, play cards, horseshoes, and Texas horseshoes. He had a deep appreciation for music and spent countless hours listening to music throughout his life. He found peace and happiness in camping, the ocean, and woodworking.
He adored his wife and lovingly called one another Honey. Her happiness was always so important to him.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms. We are especially thankful to the people that showed him compassion throughout his illness and continued to visit him.
A special thank you to his hospice nurses and the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
