Passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 67.

Predeceased by his father Donald DeCoste; Brother Peter DeCoste.

He is survived by his loving wife Coreen DeCoste of 47 years and mother Betty DeCoste; Daughters Tracy Dipaola (Gabe), Charity Nothnagle (Patrick), Jennifer DeCoste; Niece, Stephanie Gurley; Grandchildren, Amanda, Tristen, Marissa, Brad, Cody, Isabelle, Madison, Christian, Julia, Saige, Gavin, Alana; great grandchildren, Greyson & Everleigh; 5 sisters, 3 brothers and several nieces and nephews.

William was a devoted husband and father who selflessly always put the needs of his family above his own. He was a caring papa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to play basketball, fish, bowl, play cards, horseshoes, and Texas horseshoes. He had a deep appreciation for music and spent countless hours listening to music throughout his life. He found peace and happiness in camping, the ocean, and woodworking.

He adored his wife and lovingly called one another Honey. Her happiness was always so important to him.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms. We are especially thankful to the people that showed him compassion throughout his illness and continued to visit him.

A special thank you to his hospice nurses and the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.

His memorial mass will be held at 9:30 am, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Our Mother of Sorrows Church; 5000 Mt. Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612.
