Kenneth (Ken) J. Helbling, 53, of Irondequoit, NY peacefully passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019.

During Ken’s youth he was very active in the Boy Scouts and he was a graduate of Edison Tech. He previously worked at Calabrese Bakery and Artic Glacier (formerly Happy Ice); most recently owning his own refrigeration company, K&J Refrigeration. Ken an avid outdoorsman, would love to camp and fish, and spend time with his family.

Predeceased by his father, Julius L. Helbling; and brother, Christopher J. Helbling. He is survived by his mother, Theresa (Torba) Helbling; sister, Jennifer Helbling; brother Julius J. Helbling; brother Michael Helbling (Jennifer Bly); sister-in-law Mandy Helbling; nieces and nephews Byron Bowen, Honora Bowen, Quentin Bowen, Sophie Larevoy , Casey Daniels, Noah Daniels, William Daniels, Patience Daniels, Kyle Helbling and Liam Helbling as well as Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Calling hours will be on Friday, March 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home at 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609. Memorial Mass Services will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609. Private interment.
