Ruth was very active at Northridge church where she had attended since 1935. She served many by teaching children, singing in the choir and The Glory Tones, was a deaconess, and ministered to many families with her hospitality and generosity. She and Lee loved to travel and camp, taking their pop-up camper and grandchildren on trips well into their 70’s. Ruth is remembered by her family as a prayerful woman, constantly praying for them and others, for which they are very grateful.
Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband, Lee Brady; and her son Lyndon Brady.
She is survived by sons, Mark (Charlene) Brady, and Brian (Joanne) Brady; and daughter, Lois (Michael) Damron; grandchildren, Brady (Katie) Damron, Lindsey Damron, Michelle (James) Rojak, Melanie Brady, Tim (Sarah) Brady, Matthew (Kathleen) Brady, Hannah (Benjamin) Espinoza, and Adam Brady; and great-grandchildren, Peter, Rebekka & Paul Rojak, Marlowe & Camille Brady, and Leonardo Espinoza.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Northridge Church, 2052 St. Paul St., Rochester, NY.
