Katelyn Bennett obituary: Katelyn Bennett's Obituary, Rochester
In Memory Of
Katelyn "Kay Bee" Bennett
1990 - 2019
In Memory Of
Katelyn "Kay Bee" Bennett
1990 - 2019
Suddenly Thursday, March 14, 2019
Predeceased by her Father; Robert W. Bennett.
She is survived by her Mother; Keia Burkey, Brothers; William O'Donnell, John O'Donnell Jr., Sister; Tena Raxter. Maternal Grandmother; Barbara L. Davis. Aunt; Christine (Jeff) Kelly. Family and dear friends.
Katelyn was born January 31, 1990 in Rochester, NY. She loved to travel and lived in 7 different states. She loved music, the outdoors, camping, swimming, festivals, amusement parks and the water. She was a cheerleader and a lacrosse player. She loved cards and board games and was always up for a game of Scrabble or Boggle. She was intelligent, kind-hearted and strong-willed with the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen. Her blue eyes will be deeply missed as will her laughter and wit. We were fortunate to have 29 beautiful years and many fond memories to look back on.
She brought light and laughter to my life. She showed me how to love so deeply; a love I never knew was possible and I am honored to have been her mom. I pray she is at peace and is in the loving embrace of her family members that have gone before her. May her spirit live on in the gifts she was able to share through organ donation.
The day has come when you had to leave me
Your life on earth is through
God has better plans for you
For this I surely knew.
I love you and you will be missed always
Family will receive friends 4:30-6:30pm Friday March 22, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.)
Funeral services will follow visitation at 6:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Deacon Dick Lombard officiating. Interment is private.
