ROCHESTER- John G. “Jack” Ferrara, 86, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019.
Jack was born in Rochester, NY to the late Michael and Antoinette Ferrara on April 16, 1933. On January 25, 1958 Jack married the love of his life, Betty Clark Ferrara. They were married for 49 years and together they raised three children. Jack was a loyal employee to Eastman Kodak Co. for over 30 years. He retired in 1989. Jack will be remembered for his love of traveling with his wife, Betty, and fishing and crabbing with his grandkids. His passion in life was his family.
Jack is predeceased by his wife, Betty, and his sisters, Anne Walker, Angela Allen, and Mary Louise Harrington.
He is survived by his children, Sharon Symons, Susan Elliott, and Richard Ferrara, his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Bryan, Andrew, Stephen, Lauren, CJ, Kaitlyn, Jasmin, and Jacob, and his five great-grandchildren, with a sixth on the way!
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
