SOUTH BRISTOL- Charles S. “Sandy” Combs Jr., 76, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019.

Sandy was born in Rochester, NY on June 10, 1942 to the late Charles and Roberta Combs. Sandy served his country in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam Conflict, and after his military service he married the love of his life, Jennifer L. Combs. Together they raised four children. He was a loyal employee to Eastman Kodak Co. for over 25 years where he worked as a crane operator. He will be remembered for his love of camping, hunting, and car shows. His passion in life was his family.

Sandy is predeceased by his beloved wife, Jenny, his sister, Sharon Wismer, and his brother, Bill Combs.

He is survived by his children, Les Combs, Leta Arena, Melissa Toner, and Robin Combs; his grandchildren, Michael (Betsie Nettles) Arena, Ashley Toner, Aaron Toner, Zakkary Combs, and Kassy Combs; his great grandchildren, Bryson, and Amelia; and his siblings, Ann Jacobs, and Lisa (Bob) Carr.

Calling hours will held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
