SPENCERPORT - Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10th 2019 at age 87. Prede­ceased by her father, her mother, her siblings, sev­eral nieces and nephews and other dearly loved family and friends. Grandma Joan is survived by her children: Suzanne (Gary) Williams, Mark (Lisa) Dowdell, and Theresa (Dan VanDuzer); 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; beloved sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Doan; many nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends and former colleagues.

Joan’s children and family will receive friends at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridge­way Ave., Rochester, NY on Thursday June 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Joan’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 14 at St. John the Evangelist Church of Spencerport, 55 Amity Street at 10 a.m. Inter­ment will follow her mass at St. John’s Cemetery.
