Passed away on December 2nd, 2019 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents, Andrew Edwards Sr. and Bessie Smith; brother, George Edwards. He is survived by his daughter, Cherie Harris; grandchildren, Yasmin, Cassim and Sharif, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Andrew was very proud of his military service with the U.S. Army. He lived his life fully. He adored his daughter and grandchildren. He will be missed. Family will receive friends on Saturday December 7th 2019 from 4PM - 7PM followed by a service at 7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 370 7th Avenue, Suite 1802 New York, New York 10001.
