I met Yvonne back in the late 90's when she met my nephew Ellie. She was a great friend and funny at times, we hang out many times, I am so sorry to the family for their loss, she was too young to be gone. She was a brave, loving person. wow i still cannot believe it. my condolences to the Salgado family.

I’m truly going to miss you and I know that God has a purpose for you. My condolences go out to the Entire Salgado family, My sweet angel may you Rest In Peace ??!

I had the pleasure of working with both Yvonne and also her mother Yvette for a little while working at ABC. I was very sad to hear about Yvonne's passing. My fondest memory of Yvonne was a girls trip that we took with a couple of other staff members from ABC to NJ. We had so much fun. Yvonne was a beautiful soul both inside and out. My prayers are with her family. Rest in peace Yvonne, and may God bless you and your family.
My sincerest condolences,

My heart is broken, for the last 32 years we have been by each others sides, we laughed, we cried, we loved and lost and always had each others backs. My life is full of memories with Yvonne, memories I had hoped to reminisce about when we grew old. Life was better with her in it.

Yvonne was a wonderful sweet person, always smiling and easy to talk to. I used to work with her and was inspired by her small acts of kindness like the little candy bowl she had near her desk with a sign saying, "help yourself. " I never saw her angry-she will truly be missed! ??

My Heart ?? is broken. Yvonne my Neighbor from Pittsford St. was truly an Angel in my life . She joined my Mary Kay Team she was always encouraging me to Live my Best Life. I loved our conversations over Coffee about all Life’s challenges as well All the great things I saw her overcome and her to be there for me in my overcoming whatever. I spoke to her last month at dss as she helped me connect so I could get paid for my day care. And she helped direct me in my endeavors to help women in Need. She never really complained. Sure she had words but would soon conquer and move on. She will be greatly missed. My Sincere Condolences to Her Daughter Trinity her Dad Roberto. You all will always be the Best Neighbors I’ve ever Had . Until We see each other again my friend. Rest In Peace Yvonne. Peace Be Still. Amen.

For the short time that I had the privilege of working with Yvonne, I found her to be a beautiful woman inside and out. She cared about everyone. Clients and coworkers. She was so energetic, loving, and supportive. It was a great privilege to have known her, even if it wasn't for a very long time.

Meeting Yvonne this past year has been such a blessing, she was always so full of energy, sweet smiles and a great attitude. I am going to miss her singing and her humming or the Good Morning's when she walked into the office...
Her and I had a few conversations outside of work and they always revolved around family and I could just hear her love that she had for them. She spoke about how smart Trinity is, how her father was doing in Puerto Rico and how her friends could always depend on her no matter the time, night or day. It makes my heart sad knowing that we have lost someone so special but glad to know we have one more Angel watching over us.
Sending all my love, hugs and prayers to her family and friends.

I will miss the stories you shared with the girls at work. You always brought laughter to all around you. I will mostly miss your sincerity and beautiful spirit. Rest in peace my friend.

Yvonne and my daughter Jennifer were classmates in grade school and Jennifer continued with her friendship through the years. Even though I have not seen Yvonne in years, my sympathy goes out to her family at this most difficult time. Taken much too early in her young life. She had so much to offer. Thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Yvonne at Monroe County. She was a beautiful bright light in this crazy world. I will miss her stories and sharing life with her. I am so damn heartbroken. It seems unreal that she is really gone! My heart goes out to Trinity. Stay strong baby girl! Your Mom loved you so much!
~ Sarina Mainster - February 3, 2020
They way she smiled all the time no matter most situations. Devotion and integrity through all aspects of her life, especially for community, friends, and family.

I'll forever miss your sass! You'll be missed. Watch over your family, until we meet again. God took another angel to be by his side!

I met Yvonne (as I called her Vonnie) about 19 years ago at Head Start. We hit it off right away. She was in my wedding and there when my youngest was born. We didn’t talk all the time but when we did we picked right back up where we left off. I am at a loss of words. I’m sorry we never had our coffee meetup. I will miss you Vonnie. My prayers are with your family??
