Working with Mike at Lock 32 and Seven Story Brewing was always such a good time! Mike was a positive presence, helpful co-worker, and easy to work with. He provided great customer service and we always shared laughs throughout the shift. One thing that really sticks with me are the stories he shared about time he had spent with his father and whole family growing up. They meant so much to him. He was especially happy when Kevin got engaged to his sister, and I know Kevin was excited as well at the prospect of having Mike as a brother-in-law. Whenever those two were together, you would have swore by watching them interact that they were lifelong friends.
I know I speak for our whole crew of bartenders, owners, and other employees at Lock and Seven when I say we love you Mike, and will always remember you with a smile. Until we meet again!

Mac, you were such an amazing man. You lit up Mark’s every time you worked. So many memories, smiles and laughs. You’ll never be forgotten. Words can’t express how much I miss you. RIP Mac, the world lost a legend.

I had the pleasure of teaching Michael’s EMT class (and working with him). Michael was a quiet student whose curiosity and commitment reminded me what brought me to teaching. His smile lit up a room and his shy laugh made his classmates and I smile. I wish I had more comfort to offer but words just fall so short. I am so sorry.

Mike and I had classes since elementary school. He always had a smile on his face. we got a long so well because we are both happy, positive and funny people. I came over his house one day with Paul glover and we hung out in the basement all night wrestling and laughing . Than for some reason we just all started throwing random object at each other and it turned into a huge brawl. At one point I called a time out because I tripped over something and he scream “ only girls call time outs!” Mike was such a good dude and always surrounded himself with good people :) so much love

Mike was a great guy. When I worked at marks pizzeria a few years back, he made working there a lot of fun and made everyone laugh. You meet some good people in your lifetime and mike was one of them to me. Life is too short and we lost a good person, but his memories live on.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Vanessa has some very fond memories of times she spent at your house. Michael was always so kind and patient with her. She would tell me when she got home "I went swimming and Michael played with me in the pool and then with great excitement she would say Michael let me go see his "critters", I even pet one, I was kinda scared but Michael promised I wouldn't get hurt & I didn't get hurt, now I won't be afraid when I pet them, Michael showed me." She was just reminiscing with me about the times she spent at your house and remembers that he helped her overcome her fear with some "critters" as she used to call them. He will be sorely missed, but she will cherish those memories forever.
With deep sympathy,
Pam and Vanessa Buhite
