In Memory Of
Patricia Dunham
1927 - 2020
She is survived by her three children; Carol Mason, Janet Brooks (Greg), Darrel Dunham (Jan); her grandchildren, Bryan Betts (Maria), Diana Betts, Amanda Mason, Joseph Dunham (Wendy), Cheri Brubaker (Ben), Rebecca Mason, Christopher Mason, Molly Brooks, Kelly Brooks and Lindsay Dunham; and nine great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald D. Dunham, and all that knew her are seeking comfort in the knowledge that she will be joining him after decades apart as she has missed him every day since.
Born May 26th 1927 in Syracuse, NY, Patricia was a caring mother and wife, who made beautiful crafts, especially quilts for her loved ones, which we will treasure even more now in her absence. She moved to Rochester, NY in 1989 to be closer to her daughters and their families, where she became an active member of the Gates Presbyterian Church and adopted many dogs and cats, which she also loved very much.
As a mother of three, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother of nine she spent a lot of time visiting with her loved ones, baking them cookies, delicious treats, making them quilts and gifts, and cared deeply about the well-being of them all.
Patricia will be memorialized at a small service in Greece, NY at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. She will be interred at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio.
Memorial gifts in Patricia’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate, to which she contributed regularly. As she also gave regularly to animal shelters and adopted many pets herself, please also consider adopting a pet in need of a forever home or donating to a local shelter as another wonderful way to remember her.
