Mary was born in Rochester, NY on December 2, 1932 to the late Frank and Rose Polimeni. On September 17, 1949 Mary married the love of her life, Salvatore. They were married for 43 years until his passing in 1993. Together they had eight children. Mary worked at Genesee Hospital for several years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and aunt. She will be forever missed.
She is predeceased by her husband, Salvatore, her children, Salvatore and Richard, and her brother and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Doris) Pilato, Deborah (Michael) Silver, Cynthia (Thomas) Adams, John (Debra) Pilato, Celia (Richard) Pilato, and Leonard (Lisa) Pilato, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at Grace Road Church, 50 Liberty Pole Way, Rochester, NY 14604, on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 10:00am-11:00am, with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Samaritan Purse.
