Donna was a frequent attendee at the Mutual Support Group at Creative Wellness Opportunities (Mental Health Association). She always had something good to say about people present, and enjoyed participating in the group sessions. She will be surely missed, and I know she will be "checking in" on occasion.

Jeannine and Jennifer,
Thank you so much for sharing the video memories with all of us. Whenever I spoke with your mom she always said how proud she was of you and how much she appreciated everything you did for her. She was so proud of her grandkids and would often tell me stories about fun adventures she had. She didn't let setbacks keep her from helping others and was always thinking of how to lift the spirits of people around her. Her love for her Grimes family was very apparent as she told stories of growing up on the Bills Road and the fun she had there with her twin, cousins and extended family. She cared deeply about everyone and every animal friend. Hearts are heavy because she will be missed so very much. In peace.

I had the pleasure of knowing Donna through the Mutual Support Group. I always enjoyed going for coffee after our meetings in the Village Gate. Donna's youthful spirit and positive attitude always brought a smile or roaring laughter from our group. She was a fighter and stated her mind. In many ways she was a mentor. I can only hope to age as gracefully as she did. I will never forget her. May she be in peace and her Spirit be happy now back Home.

Donna contributed a lot to the mutual support group. She was kind, non-judgemental, quick to lend money to those who needed it, quick to give someone a ride home. She always told me, "Michele, what makes you special, is that you go ahead and do all the things you want to do!" We shared many phone calls, sharing all the details of our lives. She had a heart of gold, and her personality was vibrant. She will be missed. My heart goes out to her family, at this difficult time.

Donna will be dearly missed by all of us at the CWO. I loved her bright and happy outlook on life. My wife and I took Donna to reservation bingo and had so many laughs together. She will be deeply missed at our July 4th and group picnics. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
