1961 - 2021

Dwayne L Reed, 60, of Rochester, NY completed his journey to Jesus on the 10th day of December, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Dwayne was born in Tucson, AZ on August 19th, 1961. He was the adored son of Willard Wayne Reed and Lois Marguerite (Blanchard) Reed.
He was the youngest sibling of his two sisters, Linda Reed and Sharon Reed.

Dwayne married the love of his life, Tracy (Catone) Reed on September 22nd, 1995, and between them cherished three beautiful daughters.

Dwayne retired in 2015, after 31 years as a pump and process operator for Monroe County Pure Waters.

His passion for sound and lighting landed Dwayne his dream job as the Technical Director of the Cultural Life Center at Roberts Wesleyan College. His gentle spirit and humble disposition inspired and captured the hearts of many.

Dwayne was also an ordained deacon and lighting designer at his beloved church, Oasis Christian Fellowship.

Dwayne will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 26 years, Tracy Reed, his three beautiful daughters Christina (Trevor) Macaluso, Kelly Reed, and Melissa Pecora. He also leaves behind 6 adoring grandchildren and his eldest sister, Linda Reed.

Dwayne will also be missed by many close and special friends whose lives he has touched.

Dwayne was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Lois Reed and his sister, Sharon Reed.

A celebration of Dwayne’s life will be held at the Cultural Life Center at Robert’s Wesleyan College on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at 4pm.
