Predeceased by her husband of 63 years Luis Vega Sr.
Survived by her daughter Lilli (Michael) DiGennaro. Sons Luis Vega Jr., Colin (Sheryl) Vega. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren. 11 brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and dear friends.
Lydia was a wonderful mother, she always put others first. Her and Luis were married for 63 years, they had a beautiful relationship. They came from Puerto Rico many years ago and grew an amazing close knit family. They enjoyed going to Finger Lakes Race Track, spending time together with the family. She will be sadly missed by many.
Friends may call 4-6 pm NEXT Tuesday January 25, 2022 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will follow visitation at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to Alzheimer's Association Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter, 435 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620.
