EAST ROCHESTER- Thomasine D. “Tommie” Ruter, 76, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.

Tommie was born in Ogden, UT, on April 5, 1946 to the late Thomas and Bonnie Parrotta. She lived most of her life in East Rochester where she raised her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and interior design. She was able to make any room shine, even on a shoestring budget. She loved flowers, gardening, music, and her jug of Martini and Rossi. Her passion in life was her family, especially her two daughters and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Renee (Alan) Morse, and Richelle (Dean Popoli) Pilato, her grandchildren, Eric, Stephanie, Reighley, Nicholas, Austin, and Blake, her great-grandchildren, Gianna, Haisley, and Jaxson, her siblings, Sue (Peter) Hermann, Gail (Gary) Fruscello, Deborah Van Derlinden, and David (Kathy) Parrotta, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life gathering (late lunch served) will be held:
July 1, 2022 from 2-6 PM at Northponds Park lodge in Webster, NY 14580
2-3:30 calling hours/stop by
3:30-4:00- memories/reflections
4:00-6:00- dinner and drinks
