Monday September 19, 2022

Passed away unexpectedly joining her husband Antonio after 63 years of marriage.

Predeceased by her loving husband Antonio who passed June 29, 2022. Brothers Genaro, Antonio, Luigi. Sisters Maria and Pasqualina.
Survived by her sons, Joseph (Donna Billings) Barbieri and Frank Barbieri; daughter, Teresa Barbieri (Holupko); grandchildren, Ashley Holupko, Grant (Ashley Lembaris) Holupko, Lexi Barbieri, Dylan Barbieri, Brooke Barbieri and Makena Barbieri. Nieces, nephews and close friends.

Emilia was a long time member of the Italian-American Community Center, a member of the woman's bocce ball team. Emilia and Antonio enjoyed traveling the world together taking many cruises as they where avid explorers. Emilia had a great passion for life and her family. She was a caring and giving person. everyone she met, fell in love with her kindness. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Friends may call Monday 4-7 pm September 26, 2022 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond). On Tuesday morning at 9:30 am friends may meet at St. Lawrence Church 1000 North Greece Rd. for her mass of Christian burial. entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
