Dennis was born in Rochester, NY to the late Thomas and Mable Taggart on August 5, 1952. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a very kind and loving man, and made many friends along the way in his life.
He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas C. and Mable E. Taggart, his brothers, Irving (Gail) Taggart, Thomas (Ginny) Taggart, and Robert (Kathryn) Taggart, James Taggart, and his sisters, Cheryl Nayert, and Diane Taggart.
He is survived by his sons, Brian James Taggart, and Luke Alan Taggart, his grandchildren, Dakota, Noah, Kyle, Ashlyn, Joey, and Emily, his brothers, Douglas Taggart, Richard Taggart, Thomas (Debra) Taggart, and Terance (Eunice) Taggart, his sisters, Maureen (Peter) Bosse, Judy Johnson, Jean Lee, Gailann Ward, and Nancy Specht.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. from 1pm-4pm, with military honors to immediately follow.
