The Man, the Myth, the Legend.

The meaning of “Dad, The Man, The Myth, The Legend” is simple; it means dad is a man who has great distinguishable abilities, is admirable in deeds, and has noble qualities. When one hears this phrase then one cannot think of anyone better than their dad.

Harry was born to Chet and Mary. He was one of six children. Harry grew up in Sag Harbor, Long Island. He had six children, five daughters, one son. Their names are Christine, Masami, Anne, Sarah, Catherine, and Harry Jr. He had seven beautiful granddaughters, five handsome grandsons, and one great grandson. He was very proud of all of us. He went into the Marine Corps to start out his life. He had several jobs being a sergeant, a police officer, worked for the city of Rochester, and had a Bachelors in Science and nursing. Most of all, the best job he was ever proud of doing was being a dad and grandfather. After the Marines, he came to Rochester where he called home. Harry Chester Blossick Sr. better known to you as Harry "O". "O" for Originality and one of a kind. He was an intelligent human being. He possessed many qualities for being caring and compassionate. My dad always taught me to advocate for myself. This is something he strongly did himself. He made lots of friends no matter where he went whether it be work, medical professionals, lawyers, church, the bank, the barber, the gym, the mail, the grocery store or the gas station. He cherished those friendships dearly. He had a loving, fighting, and strong spirit. He was the real life incredible hulk and a true bud to many. An honorable, integral man who took no back sass from anyone. Someone I am proud to call my father, my hero and my friend. Harry is a man god broke the mold for in the making of him. A man you won't find too often.

I will leave you all with a quote from one of my father’s favorite actors, Steven Seagal.

"Try to find the path of least resistance and use it without harming others. Live with integrity and morality, not only with people but with all beings."
