Rochester:Passed peacefully Sunday, October 19, 2014 at age 85. He was predeceased by his son, Donald P. Curran Jr.; brothers, James and Thomas. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Florence; daughter, Helen (Michael) Bilak; son, William (Staci) Curran; daughter-in-law, Armita; grandchildren, Sabrina (Chad) Kessler, Tina (Jeremy) Craig, Pamela (Rob) Pavia, Thomas and Amanda Curran, Samantha and Jon Cobb; and great grandson, Donald Patrick Curran III; great-grandchildren, Montgomery, Reba, Trent, William and Kyle; brother, Jack; sisters, MaryAlice, Janet and Kathleen; and nieces and nephews. Donald was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during WWII and a member of the VFW.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23rd from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery.
