Suddenly, Thursday September 5, 2019.

Jaime Jason Vargas (aka. Jayloni Jada Jones), 37, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2019. Born in Rochester, NY, Jayloni was the daughter of Sonia and Karl Jones. She attended high school in Rochester, NY and held various food service and part time jobs just after high school.

Jayloni was an avid member of the LGBTQ+ community and a proud trans woman. She enjoyed socializing with close family, watching scary movies, shopping, making jewelry and art, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Jayloni will be remembered for her sense of humor, larger than life personality, honesty, and for being a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt.

Jayloni is survived by her mother, Sonia N. Jones; sister, Alyssa (Michael) Kamm, and brother Corey Jones; twin niece and nephew, Aria and Lincoln Kamm; maternal grandmother, Zoraida Rodriguez; uncles, David (Mary) Rodriguez, Edwin Rodriquez, Robert Rodriquez; step grandmother, Mary Jones; step aunt, Patricia Olivier; step uncles, Michael Jones (all of New Iberia, Louisiana) and Gary (Kim) Jones and a host of cousins, friends and pets, Dolce, Gabbana, Darby, Salina, Colby Jack and Lilly.

She was predeceased by her stepfather, Karl J. Jones; uncles, Ramon Rodriquez, Nieves (Tony) Rodriguez; step grandfather, Walter Jones and a host of other relatives.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626 on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 5 to 7 PM. On Wednesday morning, friends may meet at the Lake Ave gate of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for graveside services at 10 am.
