Richard M Pye
Brockport, New York

Tuesday March 24, 2020

Survived by his wife; Alice. Sons; Richard (Paige) Pye, David (Paula) Pye. Grandchildren; Alec, Shane, Mackenzie, Madison, Matthew, Julianna.
Several nieces, nephews, dear friends.

Richard was a craftsman who could fix anything. He enjoyed remodeling projects, building furniture and tinkering in his workshop. He retired from Kodak after 25+ years as a Machinist and Expediter. He lived in multiple southern states, only to come back to New York to be near family. In the early years he was always willing to lend a hand, helping people with whatever needed to get done. He was a gentle man who had the gift of gab and was liked by everyone.

A special thanks to the staff and nursing team of Penfield Place for the love and compassion they provided the family.

No prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to St. Jude Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Baldrick's Foundation in memory of Richard.
