Bob passed away on 6/18/2020 following a lengthy illness, the day before his 61st birthday. His family is grateful to Rochester General Hospital for their care and visitation allowance at the end of his life.

Bob was born to Robert Sr. and Patricia Reidy Lintz on June 19th, 1959 in Elmira, NY. Bob grew up on West 11th Street in Elmira Heights, and graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1977. Bob attended Suny Cobleskill, graduating in 1979. While there, Bob and Mitzi met in 1979 and were married on July 16th, 1983 at St. Mary's Nativity Church in West Leyden, NY. Bob and Mitzi began married life together in Rochester, NY. Precious daughter, Melinda Janet Lintz, was born in October of 1987.
Bob was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service and was a lifelong fan of the New York Jets. Bob loved horror movies, model building, painting and drawing, and drumming; he loved music - especially the group Yes, who he saw in concert several times.

Bob is predeceased by his loving parents Bob and Pat Lintz, in-laws David and Janet Sins, and his beloved dog Jack. He is survived by wife Mitzi Lintz, daughter Melinda Lintz, sisters Diane Pryslak and Linda Lintz, dear niece Mary (Mark) Pryslak-Simkow of Detroit, MI, dear cousin Kim Reddon of Elmira, NY, sister-in-law Lorena (George) Bellangue of Marietta, GA, Woody (Tamie) Sins of New Hartford, NY, Joe (Cathy) Sins of West Leyden, NY, and beloved dogs Charlie, Wolfman, and Lilly.

Special thanks to Peter Sichak RN for his devoted in-home care of Bob.

Donations may be made in Bob's name to the ASPCA or Lollypop Farm.

Mitzi and Melinda would like to thank you all for your love and support; we will continue to cherish Bob's memory throughout our lives
