Maria was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on November 19, 1943 to the late Leno Muniz and Veneda Lebron. Maria will be remembered for her love of laughing, and smiling. Her passion in life was her family.
Maria is predeceased by her beloved son, Mario Gonzalez.
She is survived by her children, Margarita Gonzalez, Angel L. Lopez, and Ricardo Muniz, her grandchildren, Jose L. Sanchez, Stacy C. Olivieri, and Carmen R. Montes, her great-grandchildren, Julianna, Jordan, Jazlene, Carmelo, Leah, and Rae’Anna, her siblings, Josefa, and Domingo, and Guillermo, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 4:00pm-7:00pm, with a service to be held privately.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
