Charles Lee "C.Lee" Burchfield
1932 - 2021

ROCHESTER - Passed away peacefully on February 21st 2021 his 89th birthday at Unity Hospital after a short illness. C. Lee was predeceased by his parents, Charles & Dora Burchfield and his infant son, Bruce. Charles, known as C. Lee was born on February 21st 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Charles and Dora Blanche Burchfield. C. Lee and his family moved to the Morton, New York area while still in high school where he graduated from Kendall High School. He later graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with an Engineering degree. He worked at General Electric in Brockport, NY before moving on to Bernz-O-Matic in Rochester, NY. Upon retirement, he worked part time doing tax returns at H&R Block also in Rochester. C. Lee pursued many hobbies and enjoyed amateur photography, playing golf and was particularly adept at computers and computer technology. He also was an avid fan of all the Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers. C. Lee spent many years attending events that his grandchildren participated in. He traveled miles to watch soccer, football, softball, lacrosse, ice hockey and wrestling along with dance recitals, graduations and birthdays. He was fondly called "Grandpa Lee.

He is survived by his children, Karla (Tom) Hare, Robin (Peter) Alexanderson, Wayne Burchfield, Daryl Burchfield, Allen (Joanne) Burchfield; sister, Audrey Dobbins; 12 grandchildren, Scott (Shelly) Hare, Amy (Jorge) Soto, Lee Alexanderson, Andy Alexanderson, Dan (Nicole) Reamer, Trisha (Heath) Moyer, Casey Burchfield, Caitlin Burchfield, Tyler (Angelka) Burchfield, Chelsea (Shawn) Enos, Zachary Burchfield, Cortney McAfee; 15 great grandchildren, Hayden and Hayley Hare, Jessica, Jorge and Areana Soto, Lily and Sierra Alexanderson, Brayde and Tristyn Moyer, Lydia Burchfield, Evelyn, Zephyr and Simon Burchfield, Brayden and Anthony McAfee; many nieces & nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 10th 2021 at Lakeside Cemetery, 1649 Moscow Road, Hamlin, NY 14464 followed by a Celebration of Life at the Carriage House, 336 County Line Road, Hamlin, NY 14464.
