Mary Lou was born in 1932 to her parents Clarence and Alma Roth. In the 1950s, she began work at the Navy Ordinance Division at Kodak, where she met Charlie. The two were married in 1956 and moved to Webster to begin their life as a family. The two were involved in music together, with Mary Lou singing with the Sweet Adelines. More recently, she sang in the choir at Joy Community Church. She and Charlie were founding members of New Jerusalem Church, which later became Joy community. Mary Lou prayed and ministered to many women in the church over the 40+ years she was a member there. All those who spent even a few moments with her are fortunate to have been blessed by her gentle spirit and steadfast faith in God.
