Suzanne M. "Suzy" Kroll
1951 - 2022

Suzanne M. Kroll of Rochester NY, age 70, passed peacefully on June 19, 2022 at Highland hospital after a near two-year battle with cancer.

Predeceased by her parents Josephine and Zygmunt Kroll, Brothers; John and Larry Kroll.

Suzy, as she was known by many, is survived by her sister's; Nora Kroll, and Christina (Stephen) Billmire of Fremont, Ca., brother Michael Kroll, and her nephews; Alexander and Nicholas Billmire, Jeffrey (Christina "Red" Charuhus) Kroll, and niece Alison Kroll, great nephew; Aiden (Sara Johnson) Kroll, Halo Fedele, Hunter, Remington, and Weston Kroll. Dearest family friend LaurieAnn Camman, and longtime friend Margaret Hoag. Along with many cousins, relatives, and friends.

Born on October 31,1951 Sue grew up in Rochester, and was a 1969 graduate of John Marshall High School. She went on to work for Eastman Kodak for 15 years and played softball for the KPAA softball league. Sue also work for Rochester General Hospital (RGH) as a courier for 11 years, she met many people and was always going out of her way to help others. Spending the summers at Charlotte Ontario Beach collecting donations at the Concerts at the Shore In 2018 she was awarded Volunteer of the year by the Charlotte Community Association,

Sue continued work while doing chemo treatments, never complaining, always smiling and right up to retirement in October 2021. This all-time die-hard NFL Buffalo Bills fan never missed a game on TV, loved the team and admired quarterback’s Jim Kelly and Josh Allen. She celebrated her 70th birthday at HiMark stadium cheering ‘Let's go Buffalo' from the stands.

Friends may call Thursday, June 23 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
Anyone who would like to wear red, white & blue/Buffalo Bills shirts may do so in her honor during visitation. A mass and celebration of life will be held at 10:30am on Monday, June 27th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.
