GREECE- Paul D. Rund, 54, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

Paul was born in Rochester, NY on January 10, 1968 to James and Elizabeth Rund. On August 26, 2006 Paul married the love of his life, Kristen. Together they raised two children. He worked as a chef for various places in the Rochester area, including Rund’s Restaurant, and loved to cook. He will be remembered for his love of the Buffalo Bills, and Syracuse Basketball. His passion in life was his family, especially his two children.

Paul is predeceased by his father, James Sr., his brother, James Jr.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kristen, his cherished children, Madison and Jack, his mother, Elizabeth, his siblings, Linda Rund, Thomas (Tracy Shaw) Rund, Gregory Rund, Kenneth (Jill) Rund, and Janelle (Dave Waldron) Rund, his in-laws, Cheryl Rund, Susan Schmidt, Mathew (Nicole) Schmidt, and Kelly (Paul) Marcarian, and his close friends, John and Michelle Marcello, Thomas and Adriana Halloran, and Joe and Maryann Halloran, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 4-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612, on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 10:30am.
