Passed peacefully surrounded by his family January 24, 2023 at the age of 80.

Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joanne; devoted children, Michelle (Bryan) Vergilia & Karen (Jay) Walker; cherished grandchildren, favorite & only granddaughter Natalie (Michael Christopher) Zampatori, Dominic Zampatori, Victor Vergilia, Dominic Calabrese, & Geno Calabrese; sister, Dale Bajer; brother in law, Albert (Sharon) Masiello; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, other family & friends; & grand dogs, Desi & Daisy.

George was an army veteran serving his country for 8 years. He retired from Kodak after 29 years as a foreman. Over the years he enjoyed bowling, golf, Nascar, football, but mostly loved playing casino slot machines.

Calling hours on Monday January 30, 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday January 31, 11am at The Parish of the Holy Family, burial following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
