IRONDEQUOIT- Thomas E. Fulford, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Tom was born in Rochester, NY to the late Agnes McElwain and Edward Fulford on February 18, 1957.
Tom worked at Rochester Beer and Beverage for many years working his way from delivery driver (slash bar hopper) to the Warehouse Manager. Once retired Tom truly found his calling when he began working for Medical Motors helping to transport medically fragile children to their appointments. Tom’s loving, patient and caring attitude allowed him to form true bonds with the families of those he transported. In his free time Tom helped to raise and train guide dogs for the blind with his wife, going shooting with his son and playing with his grandchildren. Tom loved classic cars and boating, and was once a member of the Dusk Til Dawn Van Club.
He is predeceased by his mother, Agnes McElwain; father, Edward Fulford; step-father, Richard McElwain and brother, Robert Fulford.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anette Fulford; son, Thomas (Kristin) Fulford; step daughters, Stephanie Sargent and Michelle (Patrick) Waters; grandchildren, Brynleigh, Logan, Ava, Arthur and Ethan; Sister, Barbara Deberger and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10am-1pm.
