Passed May 14, 2023 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 71.

Ralph also known as Rocky began his career as a volunteer fireman, advancing through the ranks to Chief in Gates-Chili FD. Ralph was most proud of Rockyville a program he developed for the FD training. In the City of Rochester & Gates, he maintained their fire apparatus.

Ralph was married to his childhood sweetheart, Rhonda for 50 years. They had 4 children, Tina (Derek) Wright, Michelle (Mark) Raymond, Adam (Diana) Rossi, & Amber Smith; son in law, Kevin Smith; beloved grandchildren, Barbara Wright, Gavin Wright, Jase Raymond, Carmella Jean Smith, & John William Smith.

Ralph had a great sense of humor & his laugh was infectious & made the whole room laugh with him. Annually he went to Florida with his beloved wife to go deep sea fishing & coastal fishing.
