Martin Lewis Scott, 90, died April 15, 2024 at the Leo Center for Caring in Rochester, NY, following a brief illness.

After earning a degree in chemistry from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, Martin joined Eastman Kodak Company where he remained for 37 years until his retirement as Director of Scientific Imaging. In that role, he concentrated on the needs of scientists in applying photography to their field of interest, from the microscope to the telescope.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Charles Scott of Easton, PA; his son David J. Scott, and his daughter, Alice S. Goodall (Bob Goodall).
Martin was also predeceased by his former wife, Jean Handley Scott, the mother of his children.

Martin is survived by his children Charles M. Scott (Pam Scott), Marianne Scott (Erik Benz) and Sarah J. Scott (Frank Kasko); and grandchildren Clayton L. Benz and Iris M. Benz. He is also survived by his brother, Walter A. Scott, his nephew, Reed Scott and niece, Alisa Scott, and his former wife Sandra Swanson.

At his request, there will be no public services. Martin will be interred at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY. Those wishing to honor his memory may donate to the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center in Rochester, NY (https://www.hemocenter.org/donate/).
