Born in Iran, Ahmad’s life was one of extraordinary resilience, strength, and love. He overcame countless challenges, always finding the determination to keep going.
In the face of difficulty, Ahmad cultivated a famous appreciation for life and its small pleasures. To be near Ahmad was to know his constant singing, dancing, and happy chatter. He loved to be outdoors on his bike, to care for plants, and to feed friends and strangers with his extraordinary cooking. He was trained by both the Iranian and US Navy as a helicopter pilot, worked more than twenty years as a manager for Home Depot, and served fellow immigrants as an interpreter of Farsi and Dari.
Countless people across the globe knew Ahmad as a loyal friend, benefactor, or surrogate dad. His impact on the communities of Rochester and Greece cannot be overstated.
After the loss of his daughter Sara, Ahmad found a new purpose, one that became his lifelong mission to fight evil, especially when it came to missing and exploited children. What began as grief turned into a fierce determination to protect the innocent and stand beside families who had lost so much. He poured his heart into helping others find justice, hope, and healing, believing no child should ever be forgotten.
But above all he was a tireless father to six daughters and a son. To Ahmad, it was no conflict to say that each of them was the single smartest, most beautiful, and most capable person in the world. His soul is finally reunited with Sara, his secondborn, who passed in 1988. May they rest together in peace at last.
