Greece: Passed peacefully, surrounded by loving family, Monday, June 27, 2011 at age 62. He is survived by his children, Michelle (Michael) Coyle, Michael (Melanie) Bates, Alan Jr. (Shannon) Bates; grandchildren, Faith, Michael, Alexis, Hailey, Ashley; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 AM Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
