Alexa Lee Knapp

Alexa Lee Knapp, age 27, of Greece, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2026. Alexa, born on August 12, 1998, in Rochester, New York, to Kimberly Marston and Robert Knapp, was a cherished daughter and mother known for her compassionate nature.

After graduating from Rush-Henrietta Senior High School, Alexa pursued her nursing career by earning her Registered Nurse (RN) degree. She was currently studying for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Western Governors University while working as a home health nurse. Alexa was a caring and loving soul whose sudden passing has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her seven-year-old son, Ezekiel Manuel Cruz (Zeke), who was her world; her parents Kim (partner Pete Traeg) and Robert (Bob) maternal grandparents Ted and Joyce Marston, aunts - Marta Tyson, Vicki (David) Norris, Anne Marston; cousins; and close friends. Alexa was predeceased by her loving paternal grandmother, Barbara (Gabe) Borrelli, as well as her paternal grandfather, Theadore Knapp, and 2 paternal uncles - Theadore (Joanne) and Ricky Knapp.

A celebration of life will be held at Hope Church - Greece Campus located at 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626 on Thursday, 1/29 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Blood Cancer United, in honor of her cousin, Benjamin Steele-Norris.
