Alexander Lucas Sr.

Passed away on May 10, 2026 at the age of 79.

Predeceased by his parents Henry and Brooksie Lucas; siblings, John Henry Lucas, Coretha Smith, Barbara Tucker, Pauline Pettway, Renee Lucas, James Lucas & Loria Lee Dunlap.

He is survived by his children, Alexander Lucas Jr., Yolanda (Ryan Sr.) Klem, Alonzo (Heather) Lucas & Kevin Lucas; step-daughter, Pamela Garrett; grandchildren, Jacqueline Lucas, Thalia Lucas, Calvin Alexander Lucas, Xalen Lucas, Samantha Klem, Ryan Klem Jr., Kayson Lucas, Amari Lucas & Harlow Lucas; siblings, David (Althea) Lucas, Elizabeth Lucas, Dewey(Martha) Lucas, and Brooksie (Harry) Hall; lifetime friend, Willie Hawkins; a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Family will receive friends to celebrate the life of Alexander Lucas Sr. 

on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

His military honors will be rendered immediately following the visitation, at 2:00 PM, 

at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY, 14609.

Repass will be held at Legacy Wine and Bar located at 51 State Street, Rochester, NY, 14614.  

3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Share a drink, a bite, and story in good company.
